12 children from across Key Stage 2 enjoyed a day out bowling in Sunderland. They had such fun and were such good sports supporting and congratulating each other on their shots at the pins. Year 1 and 2 have been learning all about Brazil as part of our Rio De Vida topic. We learned about the special Brazilian carnival that happens every year and created our own carnival dance and music!
The children in Reception have been busy mixing and stirring ingredients to make Easter crispy cakes.
Well done to all of the children who took part in the Gateshead Schools Dance Festival last night. You were all amazing and the teachers at St. Anne’s are incredibly proud of you.
In Reception we have been thinking how we can protect an egg from breaking if we dropped it from a height. We decided on what materials we would wrap around our egg and predicted what might happen to ours and other people eggs.

What an amazing afternoon! The PTA organised another successful afternoon celebrating all of our lovely mums. Our mums enjoyed sandwiches, scones, cakes and cheesecake, all washed down with a cup of tea. The children then entertained them with poems, messages of love, songs and dancing.
