Year 6 enjoyed a lovely teddy bear’s picnic with their Reception class buddies yesterday. It was a final opportunity for them to play games and have some party food together. The Year 6 children have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with and caring for their buddies and will miss them very much!
Well done year 3, 4 and 5! They all worked so hard to create their cosmos themed sancastles; eventually deciding on a lunar space station, a man on the moon, craters of a distant planet and an alien village. We had perfect weather for a beach trip and made sure we were sun creamed up! Read more about Children North East Sandcastle Challenge 2018[…]
Year 6 attended an uplifting, spiritual day at the Youth Village on Monday 18th June. They enjoyed joining in with the group activities, singing, liturgical dance and final Liturgy, as well as meeting Y6 children from other schools. The youth leading the day really made it both a holy and memorable day.
Year 6 had a brilliant time at the National Museum exploring the technology, animal and space sections. They enjoyed the hands on activities!

Year 6 had a lovely treat today when an ice-cream van came to give them a free ice-cream or ice lolly for all of their hard work in their SATs. It really was a well deserved treat and enjoyed by the children and the staff!
