Another fantastic day at Robinwood. We’ve been climbing, doing archery, caving, nightline, had a go on the trapeze, completed a quest, been on the zip wire, fought with Piranhas and had so much fun. Last day tomorrow!

Year 6 enjoyed investigating and evaluating different types of bread on Thursday as part of their Design and Technology topic. They all had different opinions about their favourite type of bread but most agreed that they did not like the rye bread! Day one….. on the way to Robinswood!

Our Reception class took part in a graduation ceremony last week, to celebrate all they have achieved throughout the year. They walked in to ‘We’ve only just begun’ by the Carpenters, followed by a slide show to showcase some of their learning. Reception and Year 1 enjoyed a fantastic day out to the beach at South Shields. The weather was perfect for a day on the beach, digging holes, building sandcastles, finding shells and paddling in the sea…topped off with an ice cream in the sunshine before heading home.
Year 1 enjoyed a fantastic day out at Saltwell Park, raising lots of money through sponsors. They walked to the park then enjoyed a variety of activities and played in the playground too.
