As part of the Easter Extravaganza week in school, the children in year 1 invited their parents into school to enjoy some Easter activities with them. The children and parents had a lovely afternoon. We would like to thank the PTA for their efforts in organising our Easter event after school on Wednesday this week. It was a great success and they raised over £370! Further thanks go to all parents and staff that made contributions to the event! We couldn’t have done it without you.
KS2 took part in the Dance Festival at the Sage. They performed an ‘MJ Spectacular’, which was outstanding. Each child was a credit to the school. The Michael Jackson trilby and glove enhanced their performance even further. We are super proud of our KS1 children and their Dance Festival Performance. They danced to ‘When will I be famous’, and are an absolute credit to our school. Huge thanks go to our coach, Erin who choreographed the routine. Here are some photos:
We are holding an Easter Event after school on Wednesday 5th April 2017. There will be: A cake and Biscuit Sale Chocolate Tombola Easter Raffle All proceeds go towards organising further events for the children and any resources they may need. Come along and help support our school!
Our Reception class children have had a fantastic day out learning through stories at Seven Stories – The National Centre for Children’s Books. We have been learning about bears in school therefore the ‘Bears’ Exhibition was just perfect!
