Year 1 and 2 have been looking at different dinosaur teeth and how they are different depending on whether a dinosaur was a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore. We have been sorting the teeth into the correct hoops. We then also matched the type of dinosaur to carnivore or herbivore.
This afternoon as part of their Dinosaur Planet topic, Year 1 and 2 have been thinking about moving like a dinosaur! They have been charging, stomping, creeping and changing directions. Here are some pictures from our task:
This week at cookery club the children had fun making pizzas. They cut the ingredients then selected which ingredients they wanted to make their pizza, before cooking it.
In Year 2 we have been having some head to head tournaments on Hit the Button to practise our times tables. Ask your child about it. They can access this game free if you search for it on Google. Sure they will impress you with their speed!

Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the Blue Reef Aquarium Today. We had a tour of the aquarium to see all of the creatures, watched the seal show and even held some crabs and star fish!
