This morning Years 1,2 and 3 took part in Joe Wicks, live fitness week! The children did rounds of different exercises modelled by Joe live on the screen. All children thoroughly enjoyed taking part, and were put through their paces!!
Year 6 enjoyed a Kwik Cricket Festival at Gateshead Fell Cricket Club today. Yesterday we were lucky enough to spend the morning with a skipping instructor. He taught us lots of new skipping techniques we had never heard of before (including one called the pretzel) and let us practice the old ones. Tonight was our first Keep Fit session and the children thoroughly enjoyed it! We completed a circuit of activities which included cardio, toning and stations to develop hand eye coordination skills. Children definitely worked up a sweat and are looking forward to next week already! Well done everyone who came you were awesome!

Year 6 received their certificates for their outstanding efforts during the recent Tag Rugby tournament. They were awarded during the Celebration Assembly. Well done!
