St. Anne’s were lucky enough to have two professional judo coaches come into school this morning to work with the children. Year 5/6 thoroughly enjoyed their taster session and learnt lots of new things in relation to judo, including the ‘judo throw’. The children were engaged throughout and exceptionally well behaved. Yesterday we were lucky enough to spend the morning with a skipping instructor. He taught us lots of new skipping techniques we had never heard of before (including one called the pretzel) and let us practice the old ones.
