Tonight was our first Keep Fit session and the children thoroughly enjoyed it! We completed a circuit of activities which included cardio, toning and stations to develop hand eye coordination skills. Children definitely worked up a sweat and are looking forward to next week already! Well done everyone who came you were awesome!

Year 6 received their certificates for their outstanding efforts during the recent Tag Rugby tournament. They were awarded during the Celebration Assembly. Well done!

Yesterday, Year 5 were invited to participate in an Athletics Festival at Cardinal Hume. The children were very well behaved and had a fun afternoon filled with activities.
10 children from Year 2 visited Gateshead Leisure Centre yesterday afternoon to represent St Anne’s in the KS1 athletics festival. This week in PE the children learned the art of Karate. They were practicing how to defend themselves as well as learning some Japanese words. Year 1 are currently learning Gymnastics in PE. Today they worked really hard at practicing their floor routine skills.
