Tonight was our first Keep Fit session and the children thoroughly enjoyed it! We completed a circuit of activities which included cardio, toning and stations to develop hand eye coordination skills. Children definitely worked up a sweat and are looking forward to next week already! Well done everyone who came you were awesome!
Due to outstanding demand for our cookery club, we needed to divide our club into 2 groups. Group 1 began this week. Over the past 4 weeks our gardening club has enhanced the appearance of the hand rail baskets by planting a mixture of dwarf bulbs and winter pansies. We transferred soil around the trees to create a pocket of colour of mixed bulbs, wall flowers and pansies for a warm welcome to visitors.

We enjoyed making bagel pizzas this week…developing our cooking skills, trying new things…having fun!
Year 1 and 2 Cookery Club enjoyed making fruit kebabs today. We prepared the fruit by washing, peeling and chopping; kiwi, oranges, grapes, strawberries and pineapple. The children were particularly keen to prepare the fresh pineapple. Of course, eating the fruit kebabs was the best part! We’re all looking forward to next week.
